A new channel transformation program to support the development of Cisco partner Business Architects (BA)

Global Knowledge, the world's largest Cisco Learning Solutions Partner, has developed a Business Architect (BA) and Technical Architect (TA) training program to support the development of Cisco Architecture Practices with Cisco partner organizations.

The BA and TA Track utilizes a robust business analysis and business process consulting curriculum to transform talented Cisco Channel Partner Account Managers into Business Architects and Systems Engineers into Technical Architects. This education program provides the knowledge and skills required to help Cisco partners clearly articulate the business relevancy of Cisco's architectural solutions as well as uncover business transformation opportunities to help them gain a winning edge.

Program Objectives

• Develop today’s talented AMs into tomorrow’s Business Architects (BA) – trained with strong business analysis and business process consulting skills
• Develop today’s talented SEs into tomorrow’s Technical Architects (TA) – augmenting their already significant technology skills with business acumen and business architecture skills
• Transform the traditional AM from a cost of sale to a trusted billable consulting resource
• Elevate the engagement level with the end customer from IT/Purchasing to CXO
• Enable BAs  and TAs to articulate the business relevancy of Cisco’s architectural solutions and differentiate that solution from the competition
• Give BAs and TAs the skills to build, present, and defend an enterprise business architecture solution that helps customers improve and optimize their business processes

The live program is delivered using an award winning Collaborative Learning Solution and Social Learning Network comprised of the following:

• 6 month blended learning solution involving instructor led, self paced, and the latest social learning techniques
• 5 core modules delivered using instructor led training totaling 13 days in class over a 6 month period
• Architecture electives for Collaboration, Data Center/Virtualization, and Borderless Networks delivered in a virtual environment
• Peer-to-Peer access and Peer-to-SME access through the Social Learning Network
• Access to tools, techniques, methodologies, processes, templates  - taught and practiced through the program and downloaded through the Social Learning Network
• 1-2-1 tutorials with SMEs
• Coaching and mentoring activities to build practical skills
